The three artists who stayed in Japan from January to March of last year as part of this program have completed the works they began during their stay, and starting this spring these works have screened at film festivals around the world. As each of the artists’ previous works had received acclaim at animation film festivals overseas, expectations for these new works are high, and going forward there is sure to be a great deal of interest in their artistic development.
